May 2005 - Model of the Year Contest

The annual contest to determine the top model in Bila Tserkva was held on May 12, 2005 in the Rosava Palace of Culture. There were eight contestants ranging in age from 15 to 19 from various high schools and universites in town.

This is a shot of a former winner, Tetiana, who, coincidentally, was the first person I ever met from Bila Tserkva, which may have something to do with why I like this town so much.

Instead of a traditional bathing suit contest, they had this "Amazon" thing.

Each contestant had to hype the product or service of her respective sponsor. Here is Tanya, with the assistance of the dancers and KBH team from my university, endorsing her sponsor, a denim boutique.
