First Snow - Winter 2005/2006

"One Wedding and a Funeral"

November 19, 2005

It snowed today - November 19, 2005- in Bila Tserkva. This was the first snow fall in 252 days - 8.4 months - since March 13, 2005.

My friend Ira photographed a wedding from her balcony window and, later in the day, I photographed a funeral from my kitchen window - an interesting coincidence.

Here's the snow, coming down. It wasn't cold enough to stick.

Here's a photo of a funeral procession that came by the street outside my window.
You can see the open casket of the deceased in the middle of the frame.

It was a large procession.
