New Year's Eve
Location: Night Bazaar Food Court in Chiang Rai, Thailand
We arrived at the food outdoor food court and entertainment center at the Night Bazaar in Chiang Rai at around
7 p.m. and stayed until just after midnight. This was one of the many singers that performed. It was a blue moon, I believe
the guy on the stage was the emcee....sort of the "Dick Clark" of Chiang Rai
this is Wan and me, and it was quite chilly
these is the katoey (lady boy) show
after the katoey show there was a beer drinking contest
they gave out free lanterns and here is Wan preparing to launch ours
the sky was full of lanterns all evening but it peaked right at midnight
