Chiang Mai temple tour

this is the corpse of the former abbot of Wat Chedi Luang that will be cremated on 18 January. They are constructing a very large and very elaborate funeral pyre for the cremation ceremony.



a giant fig tree. the cloth indicates that it has religious significance and should not be cut down.



this is another deceased monk at Wat Chedi Luang. How they preserve the body is a mystery to me.
